Welcome to Cocos...
A bright, Med-feel, all-day restaurant located just off the main shopping area on Penzance’s Chapel Street where the buildings are famed for the innovative architecture. Cocos is a large space with striking, colourful murals based on the work of Mattisse. It was recently taken over by chef Adam Ashbourne and his partner Emma, both of whom have had a wealth of experience in Bristol and Cornwall. Adam used to be the driving force behind the 2 AA rosette Cornish Range in Mousehole. Inside, the large windows allow plenty of light in and there is a range of seating from comfy sofas to marble tables with wicker chairs.
The continental feel extends to the food and drink. Throughout the day there are different menus available. Brunch / Lunch starts at 10.30am and runs until 2.30pm, and Dinner is from 6.30pm until late. Speciality coffees and teas, home made fruit smoothies, milkshakes and presses are available all day as well as home made cakes and pastries. Sourdough and organic granary breads are freshly prepared every morning.
